  • Lieut. Eleazer TAYLOR born About 1745/1750 1.  - at the commencement of the American Revolution 1776,  Lieut. Eleazer TAYLOR left New England Colonies, and came to Halifax, and served his Majesty's forces during the Revolution. He claimed a relationship, cousin with General Taylor. He Built his first hut on the bank of the Diligent R. 5.
  • He had three brothers: two of them went to Virginia, and two came eastwards
  • Ebenezer TAYLOR  5.
  • Paul TAYLOR  5.
  • Phillip TAYLOR 5.

  • Ebenezer TAYLOR - born Abt 1769/1777 1.  5. of Halfway River, Nova Scotia-  first son of Lieut. Eleazer TAYLOR married Freelove JENKS Abt 1791 on Abt 1771 daughter of  James Jenks born 13 Oct 1733 in Providence, Providence, Rhode Island, died 16 Aug 1806 in Parrsboro, , Nova Scotia, Canada and Beriah CRABTREE born Abt 1735 Of, North Providence, Providence, Rhode Island died 28 Feb 1818 Parrsboro, , Nova Scotia, Canada

    • Beriah TAYLOR born Abt 1792 of, Halfway River, Nova Scotia 1.

  • Catherine TAYLOR born 1782 1.  5.
  • John Parr TAYLOR 5. - born 02 DEC 1784 Parrsboro, Cumberland, Nova Scotia 1.  first male child born in Parrsboro, before it was called Parrsboro, also  the first child of Lieut. Eleazer TAYLOR born in Nova Scotia, was  named after Governor John PARR, he lived about four score and ten and died at Five Islands 5. (02 OCT 1874 1. ), married to Elizabeth DEWEY on 05 MAR 1804 Parrsboro, Cumberland, Nova Scotia 1.  - a distant relative of Admiral Dewey. Elizabeth died 24 SEP 1865 in Five Islands, Nova Scotia 1.  They had a large family consisting of five sons and seven daughters:
    • Eleazor TAYLOR  married Anna LAYTON on 17 JUN 1826 Of Welchpool, , , Nova Scotia 1.  of Falmouth, Hants Co. who was born 25 Nov 1804  d/o of Richard LAYTON. They had five or six children, resided at Westbrook for half of their time, then removed to Campobello - their eldest daughter Charlotte married married Michael Atkinson , Jr. of Westbrook where they resided a short time then removed to Apple River. Eleazor died 19 JAN 1872 1.
    • John Dewey TAYLOR born 30 SEP 1808 Southampton, , , Nova Scotia 1.   married Charlotte LAYTON of  Falmouth, Hants sister of Eleazor's wife - they had five sons and four daughters.  the marriage as 19 MAY 1833 Of Southampton, , , Nova Scotia1.  and Charlottes death as 09 APR 1814
    • Stephen TAYLOR - third son of John Parr TAYLOR died a young man
    • Silas TAYLOR (age 78 in 1900 living in Five Islands) married a Miss Fales, a daughter of Ebenezer Fales.  John Parr died in Silas's home at Five Islands. They had a large family:

      • Maria TAYLOR born Abt 1849 2. married a Mr. Campbell
      • Elizabeth TAYLOR born Abt 1851 2.
      • Andrew (Thompson?)  TAYLOR born Abt 1857 2.
      • Alexander TAYLOR born Abt 1859 - Farmer 2.
      • Ellen TAYLOR born Abt 1861 2.
      • Ida TAYLOR born Abt 1864 2.
      • Sarah TAYLOR born Abt 1867 2.
      • Willard TAYLOR born Abt 1872 2.
    • Alexander Fullerton TAYLOR  married a Miss CAMERON 5. whose parents came from Scotland. They had one son and two daughters, all now in the U.S. of America. One daughter married William Harrington of Five Islands
    • Catherine TAYLOR born 1807 of Five Islands, , , Nova Scotia, married Thomas OULTON, Shemogue, N.B. 5. on 08 AUG 1830 1.  Five Islands, Parrsboro, Cumberland, Nova Scotia had five or six in the family, nearly all of whom went to the United States. Thomas OULTON was born Abt 1807 Shemogue Corner, Botsford, Westmorland, New Brunswick and died 1883. Catherine TAYLOR died Abt 1877 1.
    • Eunice TAYLOR married Marchant ROBINSON of Parrsboro. 5. They lived for a short time at Westbrook, and removed from thence to New Brunswick. They named their eldest son Silas Tuschess Rand Robinson for the Rev. T. S. Rand who at that time just commenced preaching at Westbrook. Silas Tuschess Rand Robinson passed away about 1898.
    • Sarah TAYLOR  5. - never married and went to Boston where she lived to about sixty.
    • Olivia TAYLOR 5. married James LEWIS of Moncton, or near there. more below.
    • Sabra TAYLOR 5. (about four score in 1900 lived in Bath, Maine, widow in 1900) married Charles MCLELLAN of Five Islands.
    • Mary TAYLOR 5. married Joseph DOYLE of Five Islands.
    • Rosamond TAYLOR married Silas WADMAN
  • Esther TAYLOR 5. - married Cyprian DAVISON
  • Eleazor TAYLOR 5.  born Abt 1787 of Halfway River, Nova Scotia  - fourth son of Lieut. Eleazer TAYLOR - married Beriah JENKS 4. third daughter of  James JENKS and Martha LEWIS on  17 Mar 1813 1. 3. Beriah was born 29 Sep 1792, and died 9 May 1862 - this couple was some of the first settlers of Westbrook They had the following children 1.
    • John Christopher TAYLOR Born: Abt 1817 Place: of, Halfway River, Nova Scotia died 15 JUL 1901 1.  married to Eliza <unknown> born Abt 1814
    • David TAYLOR Born: Abt 1816 Place: Of, Halfway River, Nova Scotia
    • Nathan TAYLOR Born: Abt 1818 Place: of West Brook, Cumb. Co.  married to Lavinia CANNON daughter of William and Frances Cannon were married Sept. 14th 1843.3.
  • Nathan TAYLOR 5. born 1785 1.  died 28 SEP 1872
  • Gaius TAYLOR 5. born Abt 1790 1.  married a <unknown> MCDONALD 19 JUL 1803 Parrsboro, Cumberland, Nova Scotia
